    A BGE table nest on top of something non flammable such as a paver is your safest bet.

    Make the table out of stainless steel!  However, if you are using wood, use a table nest with fire brick below. And if possible open below the bricks. Paver instead of fire bricks is ok, but not as good as fire brick.
