I guess its a little fast but you can always use the pause button. No I dive to get away from my occupation.

Man that is amazing stuff. I'd be too claustrophobic to ever go in that ship but love watching the footage. Thanks for sharing.

I've always wanted to try scuba diving but my wife is so paranoid about sharks I just know that I would be the one to get a bite taken out of me. I would live of course, only so that I could never, ever complain about the huge bite out of my leg because my wife would yell "I told you so!!" every time. Other than that she's the perfect woman.

2 years ago we were in Key Largo diving for a couple weeks and we dove the Duane. Then this video comes out

Now she checks ocearch to see where the sharks are, like those are the only ones. lol

I was feeling all funny while watching you guys go into the sunken ship.  I am a little claustrophobic on those tight quarter things.  I think I 'd have to hang out on outside of ship.  

Pretty sweet stuff though man!

Are you using any type of filter on your GoPro?

yes, we use a red filter on the gopro. One is a snap on the outside and the other is a small red piece of plastic that goes inside the housing. I find the inside the housing one is brighter in low light conditions. You can see the turtle footage, I had the snap on and my daughter had the other one and her footage was more lit up. Without a red filter the color is not near as good.

Where do you get the red filter?  We are headed there and the Great Barrier Reef later this year.  Perhaps at a scuba shop?  If you could post a link to the "better" one you mention, I would appreciate it.

dont go without some type of red filter and dont wear gopro on your head, lol
I hate head mount gopro footage and I already want to see your footage

There are 2 kinds of divers -- those who swim toward the sharks and those who swim away.  SWMBO swims away.  I swim toward.  17 y/o swims toward.  13 y/o hasn't yet had an encounter.  Maybe this summer!!

sharks dont scare me near as much as other divers that think they no more than they really do. If I die down there one day it will be from trying to save some idiot that thinks he is jacques costeau not by a shark.

Last year in Panama City Beach we dove a Liberty ship and I was waiting on the anchor line for wife and kid to get there when I noticed my gopro wasnt around my wrist and was gone. we went to the wreck and at the bottom of the line there was a nice size sandbar shark swimming around. It was their first shark encounter, they did well. We also had a up close encounter with a good size goliath grouper and mr with no camera. When we got back to the boat I told the DM and he asked where was the last time I saw it and he jumped in and sank to the bottom with the current and found my camera. Needlesss to say I missed all  the first time shark footage. Dove a liberty ship on dday anniversary and I lose camera for the dive, oops.

Very cool, All the ship dives that I've done in hawaii they won't let you go in and explore. Most likely because its more a big operation relatively cheaper and there are multiple people for only one dive master. I'd love to see a shark like that. I have only seen small reef sharks.

What about anti-fog inserts? Use them as well?

I have never needed them diving, I do use them fishing sometimes. There were none used in the 2 videos posted.
