Best purchase I've made in a while!
The Firewire skewers!! Used mine for the first time today grilling kebabs over Royal Oak (yes Royal Oak lol....works fine for grilling). Marinated chicken for 6 hours in Moore's marinade and basted and finish kebobs with Yoshido's gourmet sauce. So happy with that purchase as it lets me use all the space on my LBGE.

Just out of curiosity how did you flip the meat & veggies? I have the FWs and haven't figured out a good way to flip.-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Henderson, Ky.

I use an Ove Glove and a pair of tongs. Works like a charm.

I did kabobs tonight and didn't flip them and still they cooked all the way through. Firewire is good stuff way better than wood skewers or any alternative IMO.Tommy
