OT - Yesterday's Tavern, Columbia, SC
My wife and I just ate brunch there for the first time. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food was killer. I had the Cajun Tasso Shrimp and Grits with a side of Ghost Pepper Mac n Cheese. My wife had Fried Grouper and Grits. Highly recommend the place for those of you in the area.

Love that place. A true Columbia staple. The fried chicken and grits is excellent as well.

@DoubleEgger ... Good to know! Will give that a try next time. Their grits are phenomenal.

Being a Connecticut Yankee that became a Gamecock, Yesterday's has special memories. First time I ever had country fried steak, black eyed peas, greens, green beans (or any vegetable) with fatback, and many more yummies, I had them there. Sure miss it...Lovin' my Large Egg since May 2012 (Richmond, VA) ... and makin' cookbooks at https://FamilyCookbookProject.com

Been eating (and drinking) there for years. Love the Arkansas Traveler and their El Nacho Man is a great app. On a sad note, my Uncle died there (roughly 30 years ago....heart attack. Fell over into a plate of spaghetti.
Also they are dog friendly (outside dinning) as well. They will bring your pup a pot of water while he or she eagerly awaits a scrap to fall his or her way!Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax
