Have any of you seen this on your egg?

Yep. I have a few holes like that.  5 years and no problems yet.

I bought the egg about 3 months ago and don't remember seeing these not to say they weren't there but I see them on the dome and the bottom. Don't see smoke coming out so they aren't all the way through. Just wanted to make sure this is normal or a quality issue or a replacement thing

I've got a few of them. Knowing I have a lifetime warranty, I'm not concerned about it.

Thanks for the info but I live in the country and no one is around. The pits are also to small for bbs

It's called Crazing. No need for alarm. 
The holes are likely where during the glazing process it didn't fill a little pit.

It's from a spec of dust in the glazing. Impuritys are a problem in ceramics. If it starts to flake off, file a claim. 

At at least that's what I've heard.

Mine is crazing like crazy....already on my less than year old base too.  No worries. 

On on those holes though, you sure that's from a bb?  I would have thought a bb would have left a larger chip around the hole.

Actually, my dad always said when something is broken, it was one of the kids.

My egg doesn't have holes in the finish (yet) but it does have those jigsaw marks all over it.

Pits cause air bubbles and eventually will open up..I'd be more concerned about the crazing...all the minute cracks in glazing..caused by rapid cooling...thus moisture can now penetrate..
