I want to move my XL close to a 6' tall PVC fence. What is the minimum spacing needed to avoid having the heat potentially warp the fence?
Thanks

Tough call. I'd take no chances though. When the egg is hot move it closer and feel the fence.Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN

Not sure many will have experience with this. I would put it where you are comfortable and light a hot fire. Slowly pull it closer. If you have a infrared thermometer hit the fence if not touch fence. Sorry but that is best advice I can think of.Columbia, SC --- LBGE 2011 -- MINI BGE 2013
