MM Smokers

So for a couple weeks I have driven past a building in Waterford, CT that had a sign that said "Myron Mixon Smokers." Had some time today so I decided to stop in.

Turns out MM joined with a local fabricator (Seconn Fabrication) to produce his smokers locally. They are currently adding on a showroom and will be hosting demos, etc. I guess BPS in Memphis is going to be a distributor, and someone else in Florida.

Was able to get a quick tour of the facility and ogle a 72XC and a V9. If I had $9K I didn't need that 72 XC would've followed me home, except that it was about to be packaged up for shipment to Sweden.

Anyhow, if you're in the area, stop in, they are producing some nice quality rigs, 14 ga steel with 1" insulation.

I am think about getting a MMS h2O. The price is a major hold up. I am seriously considering catering but also want to MAYBE compete here and there. The 72XC is too large to compete. The XC can hold 2 250lb hogs with no problem. I want to see one cook up close in person.
