Huge fan here to say the least. I've seen them a handful of times including being in the 3rd row at the Piedmont Park show (I found myself on the DVD). I was also front row in Memphis when Willie Nelson opened (and guessed). I was able to catch a drumstick from Carter after that show.

My other hobby is playing guitar and I know a ton of their songs. The Live at Luther College CD is one of the main reasons I picked up a guitar. Haven't seen them in a few years and frankly don't really enjoy their newer stuff (it's not horrible, but can't get into it). But I'll always be a fan and listen to whatever they come up with.

    Enjoy the show!

Dave was a special guest at a party we had in Athens, GA right when they were coming out to the big time level.  Nothing like 40 friends sitting around draining kegs of beer listening to him playing the guitar and singing on the back deck!  Wish I had taped that!!!

I am a fan. I used to go see him at the flood zone in Richmond in 1992-3. It was an audience of less than 500 people I would guess.  Fun to watch the band blow up over the years.
Saw them multiple times there as well, actually got engaged to my bride of 19 years before the show in 1994 at the Omni in Richmond on New Year's Eve!! Good memories!!!!

@Gman2 @DaveRichardson @fence0407 good news for us fans of the early years is that someone did tape them. Some great early 90s shows on DBlive. Highly recommend checking them out, good prices for the downloads.

Listened to DMB starting in around 1993.  Went to a lot of shows.  Really enjoyed the early music.  I can get into some of the newer stuff, just not as much.
Concerts are out of the question anymore.  It's a teeny bopper crowd of high schoolers everywhere.

I'll stick to my Umphrey's, CRB and WSP.
