What is the average size for a Flat Iron Steak?

I've observed several Flat Iron Steak cooks here and they all seem much larger than the Flat Iron steaks available in my area.

Does this Flat Iron Steak seem average size?

I got 2 last week at Fareway on sale.  I think they were about 20 oz each. First time I had ever had one.  They were really good.  I'm a Ribeye fan, but these were worth the cook.  Very tender !

I see a lot of different sizes around here.  I normally go larger rather than smaller. Maybe try asking the butcher at the grocery store to cut you a larger one.

The ones I get are 12-16" long and 5-7" wide. Tapered from 1/2" to 1"+ thick.
