Small brisket

i wanted to try brisket on the bge. SAMs has half flats for sale. About 7lbs. Any tips on cooking a small brisket?

We cooked one this weekend that was 5lbs at the GA MTN Eggfest and it's the same concept at a larger brisket. Cooked at about 230 grid temp for 8 hours or so and I believe internal temp was 202 when we pulled it. Time and temp isn't as important as tenderness though. Once it gets to 195 I usually start checking to see how tender it is and once the thermometer goes in with no effort I pull and wrap. Good Luck.
