Many thanks to the 110 cooks that came to the Georgia Mountain Eggfest and gave it their all! There was just shy of 2100 lucky tasters that came and sampled all those wonderful creations. You guys and gals really rock and no one left without getting more than their fill. You are the real stars of this show and we're very proud to host each and every one of you. That's asking a lot to feed that many hungry patrons, but, you never fail to impress! With almost a 20:1 taster to cook ratio facing you, you pulled it off without a hitch. My heartfelt thanks to you amazing eggheads for all you do for the GA Mt. Eggfest.........from your loyal friend, fellow egghead and humble servant........John (egret) Hall

I didn't cook, but you, sir, throw a great party!  I did get way more than my fill and I too thank all the cooks!

also, thanks for the opportunity to meet some of my "internet friends" and make some more.  Eggheads are the best. We'll definitely be back. Maybe even cook!

Wasn't a cook but, wanted to give a HUGE THANKS to you John (maybe next time I'll actually get to meet you  ) for this event. All of the cooks were outstanding.  It was great meeting everybody we were able to meet. The time went by so darn fast. We'll definitely attend this again in 2016. This was our first ever Egg Fest and I can speak for both my Wife & I and say we had a wonderful time.

Thanks to you John! I/we had a blast and to agree with Jason, Blake and Hotch it is nice to put a face with a name ( or recipe) I can only imagine how much you put into this event but we will be back next year bigger and better. Congrats on your well deserved MM and see you next year Thanks again, Gary (Piney)

John--as always, great fest, as well as meet and greet party.   Plus great weather and crowd.   Still my favorite fest by a long shot.     See you again next year.  Greg

@s_claus Wow I was hoping to meet you and your wife. Did you happen to come by our shed for meatballs and pineapple?

I wish tasters had name tags too, even self serve. Would have loved to met a few more forum members. Awesome fest none the less!

Hi John, Thanks for your hospitality and that of all the other eggers.  This was our first fest and it sooo exceeded our expectations.  EVERYONE we talked to was so friendly and open to any questions we had on their methods/recipes that was amazing.  Add to that the venue was FABULOUS!  I couldn't imagine a better place to have this event.

Watch out... we'll be back next hear with COOKING as our primary task and hope to see many of the same cooks there next year!

    GREAT JOB!!

PS... if you need helpers/volunteers between now and then, just let us know.

    Rick

My wife and I (as tasters) had a blast. I think what struck both of us the most was how kind and outgoing everyone was. As already stated, thank you, Mr. Hall!
