Ideas for a small table

Hi
I have a joe jr that I need to elevate. I have seen a few people using stainless work tables but are they not kind of high?  I really like that idea, clean and inexpensive.
I really only need something small because I want to put it beside my large egg. Equipment stands seem hard to find in Canada and are fairly costly.
Is it easy to cut the legs down on a work table?  I'm not sure how they attach to the table to?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

I use a steel tool cart I found at Harbor Freight for my mini.  It's rated for 350 lbs so a small should work in it no problems as well.  I found some electrical straps that fit snug over the nest feet and screwed them to the table and the egg doesn't move and is solid when moving the cart around.  I'll try and post a pic tonight when I get home.  Here's a link to the cart http://www.harborfreight.com/tool-storage/tool-carts/large-steel-tool-cart-with-locking-drawer-90428.html

Here's a picture I dug up from on of the social media outlets I use of my set up I described.  It doesn't show the straps for holding the nest firmly in place but just as a reference this is what it would be similar to.

Does it feel a bit high?

That is a good suggestion but just looking at the pic I don't think it would be big enough if you want to keep the Jr in the stand.

    What about something like this?

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I picked up a $15 table at Goodwill, stained and poly. Can't post a pic. Inexpensive and if I change I'm out $20

@GlennM - No it doesn't feel high for me, I'm 6'1 so it may be high for shorter people.  The grid height is just above waist high on me, so maybe mid stomach.  I don't think it's any higher than it would be sitting on a standard folding table or something.

@SmokeyPitt - I'm not sure what the Jr dimensions are or more importantly the dimensions for the Jr nest, so you could be right about that.  The top of the cart is 30" x 16" which leaves some room on all sides of the nest legs on the mini.  So it might work might not.

@henapple has a great inexpensive option as well.  This option might be the best for what you're looking for and if I didn't have something more like this in mind I probably would have gone that route as well.

I went with this set up because I knew I wanted some mobility as my eggs are kept in the garage and rolled out to the driveway to use.  It also gives me some extra storage and work space which is nice.  The Mini is our workhorse as we're just cooking for the 2 of us since Jr. is just starting to eat the food we're eating and he's having more fun feeding it to the dog than himself right now.  I had a vision of a moving table and wanted metal/steal because at the time a couple members wooden tables caught on fire.  My uncle had one of these carts in his garage I saw one day when I was over working on my car on his lift and I got to thinking the Mini would go great on it.  Asked him where he got it  and boom instant table for minimum effort and cost.  I also got the cart on sale and think I spent maybe $40 for it and the 2 hole straps to secure the egg.

This setup has it's drawbacks as well, mainly just cleaning out the ash seems to collect on the top of the cart as I haven't found the best way to collect all the ash from the mini yet.  Any ash that misses the pan I'm using to catch it ends up right on the top and the sides of the top keep it there.  I did just pick up one of those mini shop vacs that go on top of a 5 gallon bucket from Home Depot so that should help.  It doesn't get hot to the touch or anything so I have no complaints and it's perfect for my needs.

Looks like you can take it apart and flip the top tray upside down. Then, you could just wipe it off with a wet rag. If yours was already assembled, the owner's manual is on their website if you need it.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
