Kevin, I'm on your side here. I love all four seasons here in NGA.

    almost summer
    summer
    still summer and
    christmas

    can't beat it  =)
Totally agree with this. My boss is from the U.P. of Michigan. He says we have summer, summer, summer and an extended, very mild autumn.

I do love me some hot and humid days, the beer just seems to taste better when the temp is above 90 degrees outside.

Hmmm ... hot, humid and you're covered with yellow stuff from plants ... doesn't that sound like the meat inside an egg?

Heat is good, but pour in some 90% humidity and it's time to investigate new areas of the country.  Even the cold in the UP is comfortable 'cuz of the lack of high humidity ... all the water all freezes out of the air, so it really is a comfortable place to live.  Although, my Yooper wife doesn't exactly agree with me.

Mountains, 5 lakes, 2 rivers all within an hour drive. All that and golf 10-11.5 months a year.

If I'm hot, I can get cool. Hate the cold.

@theyolksonyou ... you can always put on more clothes if it's cold ... but, after a certain point they won't let you on the golf course if you keep shedding clothes.

In all seriousness, I don't mind he heat and humidity. I guess because I've spent my life here. I really don't like bitter cold no matter how much I'm wearing.

@theyolksonyou ... I also cringe at bitter cold weather ... 50% humidity, below zero (F) temps, and 20 mph winds are not pleasant.  But, 10~15% humidity, temps in the teens, light winds, lots of sunshine (in between light fluffy snow coming down), and light winds ... it's so pleasant and relaxing.  Ask the folks in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, etc what it's like on a nice sunny day with light winds in the middle of winter ... it's heaven.

Or, in UP along Lake Superior!  Lots of lake effect snow with some Northern Lights thrown in for night time entertainment ... it's another world.  I wear lighter winter clothing in the UP then down here in Illinois.

No cold for me. Hot humid etc etc. And yes...golf all year long. Fishing all year long...without an ice saw.

You must be one of those hard core golfers @ksmyrl - it's too dang hot in July and August to be swinging the sticks. December-February isn't fun either.
