    @cazzy that's not Focker. You're 400 or 500 miles off.

I roll with eggs in nests, don't have a table. My kitchen is 10 ft from the eggs,  I thought about an outdoor kitchen, but can't justify it.

Thanks for the reply guys, I have been egging for the past 2.5 years just added a mini-max to the XL and am loving it. I am still on the fence on how big I should make the table. I bought the BGE Table and egg cover but I might have to sell it now that I have drafted up a table the space leftover seems very small for what I usually use it for.

The table was to be 60" x 33" but now I am thinking maybe 80" x 34"? Thoughts?

Why not just put it in the center? Works for me.

My egg is in the nest with the handler... I have a ss table that sits to its left that I got from Sam's for about $130. More flexibility and less to no maintenance...

build it bigger and put it in the center. FWIW I'm right handed and had the egg to the left in my first table. Plan it out!!!! My first table was a waste of 150$. to eager. @henapple is spot on

I prefer having more room on the one side as the minimax can have room too. If I have it in the centre and the table is 60" long it doesn't leave much room on either side with the XL in the middle. I am dead set on it being on one side I know that for sure. I am leaning towards having it on my left and the room on the right as I paid attention last time I did a cook and most of the time I put stuff to my left on the ground.

I recently had a table built for both of my larges, and you would not believe the time I spent struggling with where to place the eggs so I would have room for pans etc. I am right handed, and I wanted a lot of room on the right of both eggs which was impossible.

I ended up putting them on either edge of the table and have a lot of space in the middle.

You will get it sorted out. Remember to post a pic of your finished product.

The center mount gives you options. I built this one with walnut, cherry, and maple.

If I had only 1 egg I would have a table centered in the middle. Nice work.

I actually like this setup quite a bit! Your egg opening fits perfectly, do you remember the diamater of the hole? Also do you have a photo of the back where the hinge goes?

I can get back to you with a photo and measurement. I think it was a 26 1/2 diameter for XL egg, but I will double check.

Get another egg.  Then you can have 1 on the left and 1 on the right .....

Truthfully my choice would depend on whst else was near my table.  Make the table big enough you could move it if you hated it, then cover the hole with a nice cutting board or prep surface.

Thanks for the help. I like how much surface area you have to work with, now I am even more curious. Could you share how big the table is?

The dimenisons I got for the top can be 71" x 43" I think I will want it to be a 71" by 36" top

The table top dimensions are 72" x 31" with a centered cutout of 26 1/2" diameter. It sits 32" tall without casters and 36" with 4" pivoting casters.

I'm a centrist, so I built my table to hold the egg in the middle.

That is some clerance! I dont think I can get away with this on a 36" table so I will have to put the egg up higher.

I am planing on going with a granite counter top. Any Idea how much higher I would need to raise it?

I guess the real question is what is the distance between the table top and the shelf the egg sits on?

Sorry i have so many questions I am a rookie at this and need to get the granite guy to cut it perfect otherwise I just wasted a ton of money and then I wont be able to open the lid

The shelf on my table sits 12 1/2" below the top edge of the table. The hinge clearance is close but, I am still waiting on a table nest. Which will boost the egg up another 1 1/2-2".

I would recommend placing the egg on The floor in whatever "nest configuration" you are going to use (I.e.table nest, granite square, ect.)
open the egg and measure from the floor to the lowest point in the egg hinge. This will give you the maximum depth of the shelf. Subtract 1/2"-1" from that and you will have plenty of clearance.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!

    Very nice @LWAKE1316

@Tspud1, there's something wrong with your picture. Your egg and table are way to clean.
