OT -- My New SS Tables
I ordered my tables from Tim at outdoorkitchenequip.com (well-deserved plug). It was quite the journey from the mid-west to Alaska but the packaging was terrific. I've had them on hand for close to a month, now, and I am very pleased with the functionality, particularly the slide out propane tank. BTW it's Alaska, so spring is still slowly making its way up here.

Stainless steel tables are great.

Looks great. I thought that packaging looks familiar. I got the Egg1 from him with some custom holes to feed the wires for my stoker. Great company. Enjoy your table....I know I have enjoyed mine.Joe - I'm a reformed gasser-holic aka 4Runner Columbia, SC Wonderful BGE Resource Site: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramicfaq.htm and http://www.nibblemethis.com/ and http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/02/recipes.html

Thanks @4Runner . That was smart thinking on your part regarding the Stoker holes. I may end up drilling a few holes myself later--after the newness factor wears off.

Thank you, @NPHuskerFL . I've seen your SS table and it is very nice. The manufacturer is outdoorkitchenequip.com (Tim) so I believe you are correct.

Nice setup you have there. What is your canopy and how do you like it? How sturdy is it?They/Them

Thanks @DMW. The canopy is just a Wally-World special. It works for us because it sits behind an eight foot fence. I've had to replace the original canopy top once due to cracking issues, but this one seems to be holding up a little better through the winter. I got the replacement from Target.

Tim made our table also..great guy to work with and stands behind his product. (We had a few things that weren't as expected and he went way out of his way to make everything right).
I'm finding the SS is a lot more upkeep than I thought it'd be (seems to get light-medium scratches really easy which was a bit surprising since it's Steel and it's also been a lot harder to clean than expected), but I like not having to worry about the KJ or Mini once I shut them down.
Seen too many horror stories here on the forum of wood tables that catch fire - SS is WAY worth it for that reason alone. They're definitely not cheap, but the peace of mind is priceless.

i also bought a SS table from Tim. The thing is solid as a battleship and Tim's service is great.Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Large BGE, Weber gas, little Weber charcoal. Vintage ManGrates. Little reddish portable kamado that shall remain nameless here. Very Extremely Stable Genius.
