Help with a MiniMax

I have had a large BGE for about three years now and still love it. Today I picked up a MiniMax in Edmonton along with an convEGGtor. (To me it looks like a small platesetter). Can you guys post a few picks of your cooks on a MiniMax so I can get an idea of what it is capable of doing? Also different configurations that you have come up with. I can't wait to get it home and try it out. What are your favorite accessories and what is the best thing you have cooked on it. Thanks in advance!

First, get a woo from the ceramic grill store, and either get their stone or cut the legs off the plate setter. I'm waiting for the ash basket to come out, but others have already installed a high que (one for a large will fit). Also a cut down cork will aid in the thermo from stabbing your food.

+1 get the WOO set-up from CGS. And if you're a LBGE owner for 3 yrs the rest should fall right inline. Here's just a couple of recent cooks on our MM.

Well I made it home and tonight I assembled the Mini Max. Took about 20 minutes. The two look good together. I did some chicken thighs but I felt that the heat did not relly get past the plate setter to crisp the skin. I ordered a Woo combo today, I think I now know why it was recommended, thanks again for your input folks.

Thanks, has anyone used their stoker on these little guys? I was thinking of ordering some more probes in case I want to run them both at the same time.

I haven't used my DigiQ on the MM yet, but I've purchased the door to use my fan.

I have had time to use it a few times now, nice little unit. I have ordered a Woo combo as well as a Kick Ash Basket for it. Most of yesterday was spent constructing a table. It looks like it is at home now.

I have a range hood over my large egg. When I first light it I put that on top to direct the smoke to the fan input. My Porch is completely closed in.

It is from Princess auto. It is sold as a three tier tool cart for $ 124.00. The top shelf was supposed to have the drawer but I cut a hole in the middle shelf and moved it to the top. The drawer fits the plate setter and a 13 inch stone perfectly. I had to drill new holes for the middle shelf you can see where it was supposed to be in the picture. I am happy with the way it turned out.
