Brining a frozen pork roast

So, here is one for the gang, could you put a frozen piece of meat (like a bone in pork roast) directly into a brine or would you have to wait for it to defrost?

You can thaw it in the brine. While it is thawing the brine will do its thing more slowly, so you probably want to extend your brine time to account for thawing.

Yeah, the weather this week was a rude kick when I got off the plane yesterday in Philly. My son's ball game tonight won't be much fun. What happened to Spring?
