I've decided to put my egg table on my deck and I need to get a cover to protect the wood of my cart. I know the egg would be fine but the UV will destroy the wood over time. I'm thinking of buying an x-large grill cover off of Amazon or from Home Depot. They sell for $30-$50 and the one on Amazon has a lifetime warranty. My table is 26" X 60" (63.5" long if you count the handle and hooks mounted on the ends) so I don't think the BGE cover will fit. I could get a custom made cover but reluctant to spend the money. I'm curious what covers others are using and how well they are holding up for them. Thanks for the help.

Check out the Cover Store. I had to buy an island size for my table. Two mid-Michigan winters and so far so good.

My old style BGE brand table cover is 15 years old and still holding up well to Illinois weather. I can't complain.

I too have a BGE cover that I got real cheap from a pool & spa closeout store. However the Cover Store has some good covers. Check out the Elite Full Cover which is on sale now for $47.99 (http://www.the-cover-store.com/kamado-full-cover-29-48-inch-elite/?color=Black).
I bought one from them for my BGE Mini and it is very well built and extremely durable.LBGE & MiniOrlando, FL -
I'm using a cover that is designed for an outdoor couch. The fit is a little off, but the bottom is elasticized, so it stays put very well.

Here in the deep south, I have given up on using covers ever since I, in haste of have some steak, yanked the cover off the old gasser that had been sitting idle for a week or two, and disturned the damn yellow jacket/wasp nest that had built itself under the cover.
Needless to say, several stings later, and teaching the neighbor-kids A LOT of new words, I don't use a cover anymore. My deck gets 100 sun throughout the day on a southern exposure. Nice and warm!!!LBGE #19 from North GA Eggfest, 2014

Here's one from the Cover Store that should fit. I have the next smaller version of this cover (65 x 25 x 50) in the "Elite" fabric and it's awesome - unlike most covers, it doesn't get rock hard in the winter and stayed nice and supple - very easy to get on and off, even with my massive SS table (sounds similar to yours except yours is wider).

There is always the buy a large tarp and drape it over.
You can go with just that, or you can trim it up and with a grommet kit make it custom and use a couple of bungies to cinch the bottom so it can't blow off.

How are all your covers holding up?
Looking for something to replace my Montana Grills large table cover. The first one, purchased in 2016, lasted just one year before being replaced under warranty due to bursting seams. The second one, has lasted since 2017 but is due to be changed, as it’s now busting at the seams.I need something in a roughly 82”L x 28”D x 32”H (at ends) x54”H at peaks, where Large BGE dome will sit.I may try to stitch the Montana, but I would greatly appreciate recommendations for good covers in case I ultimately can’t make a go of it.Thanks.
