On March 14, 2014 I stood in the line starting at 8:15 am.  I was 125th.  There were twice as many back of me.  It was four more hours before I got to where the new hole is.  Ten minutes later I was eating the best brisket ever.  And like everyone else, I had no complaints about the food, the prices or the long wait.  It was worth it and I will be back.

Oh, I also managed to get the full tour from Aaron Franklin himself for my wife and friend from Ireland and lucky me.  Nice guy.  HeckofaBBQer and savvy businessman.

You want real Texas BBQ, start at Franklins.  The bar will be very high after that.
