Sam's Club Pizza Crust

Sam's Club sell their frozen pizza crust dough balls by the case from their snack bar/cafe.  Has anyone tried then before?  Pizza party coming up soon!

I have not purchased a case of their pizza balls since they would take up too much room in my freezer, but I'd love to buy "some"! I find their crust to our liking! I always ask at the counter if they would sell me just one ball or a broken case, but always get the same response of "we are not allowed to sell any, but by the case!" which is total marketing BS in my opinion!

We have bought their dough for awhile. It's great if you set it out in the fridge for a day to thaw then lay it on the counter and let it rise the next day. We noticed they changed their dough about a year ago it's not the same but we still love it. We use it a lot for pizza parties when we are doing a lot of pizzas

I'll bet it's just not individually packaged for resale, I can't imagine they're really trying to force you to buy a case.
    Love you bro!

@RRP what I like about buying a case is it's cheap/dough ball lol! But seriously we would buy them "pre-egg" they do great in the freezer

That's what we use. Almost done with the first case. We like it well enough I don't attempt to make my own.

I tried some for the first time this weekend. I liked it. Its definitely not a last minute thing so keep that in mind. Case of 20 came out to ~.90 per crust. Lastly, the directions said they're only good for 60 days.

You can extend the freezer life greatly with the use of vacuum bags.

In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’  Dare to think for yourself.

I missed the directions. Cooked some Sunday that were bought in August. Kept I freezer in the blue bag they came in. They were still good.

We've bought frozed thin and crispy crust from Restaurant Depot. Even though it's ready to use, just thaw it out, put on toppings and cook. Have a great results on the egg or in the oven. Has sizes from 10" - 16".  If I remember right a case of 30 I think was $24.00 for 10"

Not to bust balls but, if you have time to throw it in the fridge for 1 day to thaw and then the next day place on the counter to prove why not make it yourself. I don't see the time or $ savings. Or am I missing something here.

Well, for the sake of argument, they liked... The taste, the cost and the convenience.  Time didn't figure into the equation.

If having the time to do it yourself should be the determinate factor, why would anyone purchase commercially made rubs and sauces?

Honest, making pizza crust is easy and cheap. With quick rising yeast you can have dough in 30 minutes.
