Need ideas on smoking a 2lb corned beef brisket
Looking for ideas on how long to smoke and does it need to be in its juices.

I'm just getting ready to do the same.
I bought two and tied them together to make it a bigger piece.
I'm in the same boat not sure how long it will take to cook. There going on the egg at midnight so maybe they'll be for lunch or maybe dinner.

I soaked mine for about 8 hours. The first one I soaked for only an hour too salty. The last corned beef I soaked for 24 hours too long. Now 8 hours.Little Steven said:Rinse the daylights out of it guys -

I never changed the water this time.

I just did one the other day and it came out pretty good. We had some leftover corned beef samiches last night. Here is my post with what I did (followed)

Definitely "reverse brine" & rub. Smoke to 150, then pressure cook for about 35 minutes (10 PSI).
Best corned beef, EVER.
