New XL table build

New to the site, just bought my first egg. Went with the XL.
Some me of the tables on here are amazing, kudos to you all. I am attempting a cedar build. Found inspiration from several threads here. I hope I can add my own stamp to it.
Here are are a few pics from yesterday's progress.

Looking good so far.

Appreciate it. I should've mentioned size. I went 32 inches tall plus top and casters. I wanted it to be taller for my height. 60 inch outside width. 32 inches deep to accommodate the XL. Using composite deck boards leftover from my deck for the shelves and still deciding on top. Currently half composite half tile is the leading idea. Predrilled all screws and glued all connections. I sunk the screws and will fill prior to sanding/ staining.

Going with small pneumatics or HD solid casters?LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

Pneumatic may allow you to roll it in the yard easier.I just got my exlarge a few weeks ago.I took the lazy way out, I purchased the cypress table with the egg.I finished it my self with 3 cost of miniwax clear. The lower damper door and the screen reversed, screen on the outside.

Here building the corner supports for the top pieces

Using leftover composite deck boards from our build last summer. Better to reuse right?
-
Upside down view. Adding the casters. Not pneumatic just the 4 inch heavy duty ones from menards. Will use fixed on egg side and rotating on the tiled side.
-
Will there be WHEEL'D or other support to ground under middle leg?
-
-
Still needs finishing trim and casters put back on but wanted to see the table in its eventual location. Also the table is now approx 150 lbs so I needed to move it well before setting the XL egg.

Looking good. Bet you can't wait to fire it up.
I made my table a couple of years ago and it's holding up great. I don't leave it out in the weather so it still looks brand new. I did a sort of wood working thread when I built it.
Here it is if you're interested. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy that egg.

Ok guys. I had a couple weeks away (trip with the Mrs.) but I'm back at it. Needed to cut a 26.5 inch hole out of the composite decking. Bought a plunge router with circle extension and it worked out great

Rather than a granite top, I chose granite tiles for $2.99 from menards and two 12x12 mosaics. Cut the mosaics for the bottom and top and just got done laying the tile on the backer board. Will let it set overnight and grout tomorrow.

Very nice.

Looks nice. What kind of bit did you use for that circle cut out?

Ok fellow table builders. Here is a situation that I planned for but still wanted to warn anyone on future XL builds. The XL has a dramatically different hinge system than the large and you need to plan for it. I used the BGE brand metal stand and the measurement for drop from the base plans. This will allow for enough clearance as long as you keep the table to the 32 inch depth. Much more and you will have to raise the height of the egg for more clearance.
