This is the remains of an 11 hour pork butt cook at 250/275 on my XL, GFS lump to the top of the fire box and 3 chunks of wood. I am going to roast a halfed acorn squash indirect sprinkled with pineapple head for 30 minutes then grill some stuffed turkey burgers with spinach and feta cheese Direct on the hot side

If the gaskets and seals around the bottom vent are in good condition it is amazing how efficient these things can be.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.
