Wow we were very close, we started at Arenal area but I was at the Andaz Hyatt in Papagayo the last few nights.

We Flew into Liberia but got a 7 hour snow delay.  We got our rental car at 9:30pm (instead of noon-ish) . . and then drove over 3 hours through the pitch black jungle with no GPS to the Arenal Volcano . . roads are crazy . .  a real adventure!

Where I go fishing, I catch mostly 7" to 9" trout.  I use 2 lb test for my fishing line.  2 splitshot is typically the most weight I use. I would have no idea what to do with a fish that big.  i know I don't have any frying pans big enough for a fish like that.
Do you have a pan the size of a cow, or do you not eat beef, or do you have a knife?
I don't catch cow?  But when I catch fish, I clean 'em, remove their heads, and straight into the frying pan they go, from dead to cooked in 10 minutes or so.
I have no idea how to fillet, de-bone, etc a fish that big.
