Sundays simple tri tip
Rubbed a tri tip with some cow lick rub and then marinated for a couple hours in some chimichurri. Seared for 5 minutes and then put it on raised direct 400 degree grate until about 130 internal. Served up with a little tomato cucumber red onion salad and baked potato. Good eating for sure. Fast and easy. Perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

@logchief What is it going for down in Central CA? Up here in Northern CA I just paid 8 bucks a pound yesterday for the trimmed. Price is getting ridiculous.

I get mine at Costco usually in a two pack untrimmed (choice) and the last ones I bought were around $5 but I bought a couple of packs and haven't looked in the last few weeks.
