5 Days to Salado Eggfest Reminder

Time is a funny thing. It lasts forever, yet it can run out. And that's exactly what is happening as we get closer to the Salado Eggfest.

And when it comes to registering on-line for the Salado Eggfest, time runs out Wednesday, the 11th.

There's nothing scientific about this phenomenon, it's just that the Fest Scribe and his Wonderful Assistant (That would be us: Spring Chicken and Spring Hen) have to pack up to leave for Salado on Thursday, March 12th - two full days before the Eggfest. So we won't be in any kind of position to process on-line registrations.

Those who do not wish to take advantage of On-Line Registration, can still do so at the Registration/Sign-In Table at the Eggfest itself.

There, you will get your chance to tell us who you are and receive your official door prize ticket for the Mini-Max Egg Drawings. There may be a line.

We are giving away two of the Mini-Max Eggs, you know. The drawings will be sometime between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm Saturday, after the Eggfest begins to wind down.

If you're waiting until the last minute to register, don't... It will not matter one iota that you register on-line and later can't come. So be it.

And because the Salado Eggfest is Free, there's no refunds to worry about. The rest of us might be a little disappointed that you didn't come, but even that disappointment will disappear just before the drawings for the Mini-Max Eggs because it increases our chances of winning.

And one other thing, if you have any intentions of purchasing one of the Demo-Eggs, you MUST make arrangements prior to the Eggfest. All you have to do is contact the Dealer in Salado - Keith Ace Hardware. Here's the link:

So here we are, down to the final days, hours, minutes and seconds before one of the Best Eggfests in the entire United States, and there you are...

You've got to be somewhere on March 14th, so why not make it Salado, Texas in Pace Park enjoying some of the best food in the world.
