Egg-less on vacation- reverse sear rib eye

Headed to the beach and didnt think packing up my XL for the trip would be wise. Been wanting to get a minimax BGE or kamodo joe for travel situations but that is another conversation....

Found the biggest and thickest ribeye I could find at the grocery store. Not a butcher shop but they had some pretty good quality meat. 

Rubbed with a Gullah seasoning we found at gas station on the way. 30-35 minutes in the oven at 230 degrees. Used Harbor Freight torch to light lump on charcoal grill, was cooking just a few minutes later (torch is incredible). This grill has a hand crank where you can raise and lower the charcoal, so I put it about 1" below the grill grate... Did about 2 minutes a side

Everyone was very pleased
