First cast iron cook- sliders!

My wife forced me to go to TJ Maxx today. She looked at pillows, I headed for the kitchen aisles. I found a lodge logic ldp griddle for 10 bucks. So that meant sliders were on the menu! 

I filled the bowl with lump, fired it up with my heat gun, set the adjustable rig on the middle setting with two cross bars, and inserted the griddle.

This new format sucks major ass. I cant post a picture in the right spot to save my life. They really need to leave this vanilla crap and go to vbulletin.

no eggs and bacon for breakfast but i might. Right now im powering through coors pounders at a rate to sleep til noon. Damn griddle is pretty rough texture, i bet eggs would stick hard.

First of all, that was a great find at TJ Maxx!  I would've snapped that up for 10 bucks also. As for the new format, I guess I figured it out and it seems to work fine. I feel I have better control over placing pictures that I did in the old one.

Sliders look great! You could work the White Caste griddle no problem.

Tell my wife about the broccoli! I do love broccoli though, best vegetable ever. 

Im cooking the second batch today for lunch, ill post up some more pictures. They got nice and crispy on the outsides. 

How do i make the picture posting work? Everytime i add a picture it comes up huge and wont let me type underneath it. Im on mobile, using opera or chrome browser.

looking at the picture an idea, if you have the 16 half stone put it on the oval grid or slide guide underneath.  this way give you two zones, one grilling and another warming......t
