Just wondering how Fogo lump is compared to RW. I tried my 1st bad of RW and love it. Also getting ready to try my first bag of OO soon. Was thinking of ordering it.
Amazon has Fogo on sale for $40.15 for 35 pounds...............but look at the shipping weight, it says 33.2 pounds....Hmmmmm

I personally like it better than Rockwood for low and slow cooks. Its heavier and much more dense so it burns much longer per the space it takes up which is important on the smaller eggs for low and slow. It also has alot of big pieces and very few small pieces and scrap. The Rockwood I got was shipped and it had probably 2 plus pounds of tiny pieces and dust in the bag.

Thanks, I will probably try a bag. My first bag of rockwood is very similar. It had many tiny pieces and dust but I attribute it to shipping, other than that its great.
