in Appetizers
These are my favorite appetizer of all time.
Jumbo shrimp butterflied with slices of jalapeño & jack cheese. Wrapped in 1/2 a slice of bacon and covered in our Honey Hog rub.
Dear....Lord......
I go indirect with these to give the bacon more time to get looking just right. They are supposed to be an appetizer but they were a meal for us this week. Enjoy!

Since we posted this we determined that Honey Hog Hot is better on shrimp. It's not really hot, so don't be scared to try it. Trust me.

Mmmm...shrimp en brochette. Looks like you did a good job of getting the bacon crispy without losing any of the cheese. Good job.

Just bought all your rubs and I really like the honey hog. This looks like an amazing app and I will be making this tomorrow. Did you use thick cut bacon and how did you make the timing perfect since bacon and shrimp have such different cooking times? Thanks for the post!
