What temperatures do cook over medium heat or high heat correlate to on the egg?

In my little world anything under 300º is low heat, up to 450º is med heat and from there it goes to cold lava @ 500º to hot lava @ 800º. Kind of vague but, it works for me.

groundfish,[p]I think drbbq leaves the times and temps a bit vague to accommodate folks cooking styles and cooker styles.... as cooking tends to be relative with few absolutes.... kinda like art. :~)[p]My general idea thereabouts that's subject to change and probably will...
Low 200 - 275.
Med 275 - 375.
High 375 - surface of the sun.[p]John

Ya, dats sorta what I be thinkin too.[p]But I'm goin with:
low 225-275
medium low 275-300
medium 300-350
medium high 350-400
high 400 -550
turbo 550-1000[p]This is for direct mainly. The lower number is cookin on the regular grate, and the higher number on a raised grate! Have to agree with you on Ray's intentions of letting the cook decide what is medium on their cooker.[p]Beers ma fraind!
