My First Spatchcock
On Saturday I attempted to spatchcock a chicken since I had read about experiences of others on the forum. I followed the directions on the naked whiz website for preparation and put a little EVOO on the skin and Oak Ridge BBQ chicken rub. I cooked it raised direct at 400 F for a little under an hour.
Everything I had read was true. Easy to cook with excellent results (very juicy). SWMBO claims it was the best chicken she has ever tried. Definitely a repeat.
