OT - Snow Day With My "Real" Camera

Had a pretty good snow storm today, has turned to freezing rain in the last hour or so. I went out earlier with my camera gear as I try to get a handle on using my new body. Went from my 8yr old A700 to the A77II... big difference. Gonna take a while till I can use it without thinking about it

While I was out, nothing really caught my eye... but when I got home I managed to get a couple of quick portraits of Elise using the nice soft light from the snow on the deck. And I didn't use my iPhone

This one I did overly process the eyes to try and match her expression and mood... The second one had minimal processing. Elise gets her braces on this Thursday, luckily on for about a year...

I took out my A65 for some snow pictures.  Didn't think of it early enough, as I cleared off the eggs and brick patio, before grabbing the camera.

The snow did give some very nice lighting. Never really though of it. Maybe because we don't get hardly any snow. Their saying we could get some tomorrow night. The soft look, looks very professional. Good job.
