Easy Chicken and Rice Soup

Egg was frozen shut, got out the old heat gun to thaw it. I haven't installed my new Rutland since I just had the dome and base replaced under warranty. I do need to fix the darn underbite though. Anyway...

I had two thighs, one bone in breast and another boneless breast in the freezer. Seasoned with DP Shakin' the Tree and cooked on the Egg.

Meanwhile I saute'd three large carrots chopped(I had bought a large package of whole carrots at Sam's a while ago and need to get rid of them, at least they last a long time)and a head of garlic chopped in the CI. Made a roux with melted butter and flour, added chicken stock, a can of cream of chicken soup, some water, bay leaves, and more DP shakin' the tree.

 Added the carrots and garlic, pulled the chicken added that, and put in the rice which I made in the rice cooker.

I just kind of ad libbed since I didn't have all the ingredients for any specific recipe and didn't want to go to the store with all the ice on the roads. It turned out great.
