Sunny Sunday Cook... Nevermind That Slight Breeze

Well at least the Sun's out...

Knocking on wood, no calls or power outages yet, fingers remain crossed.

While it is sunny, the breeze (20-30mph with gusts to 50) may keep me from wearing shorts (wind chills are around -20). Going to fire the egg up in a little bit to do a pack of chicken breasts and I picked up a nice NY strip for dinner. Going to have it with a big salad for a simple and quick Sunday dinner.

Definitely no shorts today

May have spoken too soon... Just as I went down to get the egg fired up, on call struck. Waiting now to hear back from one of our Vendor Managers...

Been there done that Hap. Had a chucky on for a bit and ringadingaling "the on call" was on and way out in BFE of course. Hopefully yours will wait till tomorrow. Mine couldn't wait.

I don't have to actually go anywhere... Just spend time on the phone playing tag with multiple parties that always manage to return your call at the same time :(

Freezing here in Toronto today -31c/-23f with the wind chill brrr! This is when the BGE really shines. Ran out started it and ran in. Ran out to set vents ran in. Ran out put beef+pork ribs on and ran in. Just waiting now. I bet nobody with a gasser or regular charcoal bbq is cooking today in T.O.
