What is the eggcessory kit my dealer is charging me $300 with purchase of XLEgg. They say it for the daisy wheel and other stuff. I thought the daisy wheel came with it

What's the price out the door? If around $1200ish I think that's right. I don't have an XL, so I don't know for sure. If its truly another $300 for the DFMT etc (what else is included?) then you may need to find another dealer.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

Each Egg (except mini max) comes in 2 boxes. One box with ceramics and another box (called accessory kit) with all the metal works and temp gauge. You should both boxes for the price of the Egg.
Hope that helps.

I hope that's including a nest and plate setter. If you're being charged for the DFMT, that's some righteous BS. It's an included part in the initial purchase. I'd call corporate if they're trying to charge you for a standard part.

Ive seen the ashtool, bag of lump, and something else ( I forget) referred to as accessory kit. But thats far from 300 bucks.

The wheel and cap came with mine. Did you get a nest .? I found some dealers don't have a clue about the egg. They just sell them and have never cooked on them

Just tell the dealer you are returning it because it doesn't work lolIn the middle of Georgia! Geaux Tigers!!!!!

When I purchased my XL 15 years ago, the whole thing with plate setter, cover daisy and steel cart was $800.00 total.

15 years ago I bought my first offset. High quality job from lowes.
