I love my medium egg ..

I have five eggs, but could sell four of them and just keep the medium. Dont tell my wife I said that. Made burgers the other night, only got pics during the cook, no post pics, we had to eat (even these are just phone quality).

you got some heat under those burgers! I got a mini through the internet and gave it to my parents as a present. They used it once. Im about to "steal it back".... hahaSt. Johns County, Florida

@MaC122 , yeah, it looks pretty hot down there. This was when I opened it to give them their flip. Since it was 80/20 chuck, they start to drip a lot on the flip. I had the egg running at about 500.I would steal the mini back.

nice...so I usually do a lower temp, 350 -400. did you get s better burger @ 500? What say you egg heads? Direct? Flip? no Flip?...you have to flip.IF you press your burgers you can.....Ill be nice. DONT PRESS YOUR BURGERS! .....everSt. Johns County, Florida

I like the crust on the burger, so I go hotter. I flip the cast iron over so it is cooked by the widest part of the cast iron bars. I cook it raised like you see in the pic so they aren't engulfed in flames from the grease dripping down.

I sooo need to get a CI grid of some sort. Great looking burgers.I traded my medium for a large, and have been happy…but the thoughts of a second egg are always lurking and I am really torn between a medium or small/mini maxx.Lethbridge, Alberta LBGE & MM
