Simple dinner. Rice, potatoes, chicken wings and thighs and ABT's. The ABT's were very very mild and delicious.

For all your concern about ABT heat you nailed it. Congrats on the cook and I would offer to get creative with the ABT's but just an opinion...Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

@NPHuskerFL went simple. I used cream cheese, mayo, cheddar cheese, onion and garlic powder indirect at 250 then bumped it up to 350.

@lousubcap thank you sir.

Nice cook my friend!
Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

@DMW thanks I will try that. I read in another thread where you mentioned to soak the jalapenos in cold water. I did that.
-
Yep, soaking in water before cleaning does cut the heat. One time I left them in for about 2 hours, and there was no heat whatsoever, they had almost become bland. The thing with jalapenos is they vary greatly when it comes to heat. One to another in the same batch can be completely different heat levels. I remember one batch I bought though that all were so hot we were all running for the milk and bread.They/Them
