How much lump do I need to start with for a 17 Lb brisket?

I have a xl BGE and am trying a 17lb brisket and also have a CyberQ Wifi to go low and slow,.. How much Lump will I need to start with as I dont want to over fill the Egg but also dont want to have to add more mid stream.
I have read some of the other threads here about 1 hour or so per lb and could use any advice along those lines also.
planning on cooking 4 racks of ribs after the brisket comes off.
Thanks for any input.
Phil

There is no downside to filling the Egg up with fuel. Put out the fire when you are done and you will conserve any extra there may be.

a filled xl should be able to get you about 40 hours of low temps. not that you'd need that long in one shot...St. Louis Barbeque Society certified competition judge

If doing a 17lb Brisket and then 4 racks back-to-back you might need to refill the fuel.. I'm coming from a LBGE, so ymmv. Otherwise, I pretty much always just fill it up to the max every cook.Haddon Township, NJ
