Ist item cooked on the LG BGE “Pizza"
I got the LG BGE for a birthday present. I only heard about the BGE 6 months ago. I had no idea what I was getting into. Only this, BGE heaven! Attached is a photo of the first thing I cooked on it. Best pizza I have ever had! ( In my own opinion) Can’t wait to cook EVERYTHING!

Nice. Everything is so nice a clean inside that egg!Southeast Florida - LBGE
In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’ Dare to think for yourself. -
Looks good, congrats!LBGE, platesetter, Stoker wifi, StokerX Mac software, Pit Pal for iOS, @HerringBigEgg on Twitter, joined forum in 2008Austin, TX

This is one clean BGE! Cook something at a lower temp next. You owners manual suggests you are supposed to break it in with some low temp cooks before cranking it up to the high temps the pizza's or searing usually take. Welcome and enjoy. The BGE is amazing!XL BGE; Medium BGE; L BGE

Welcome aboard. That pizza looks fantastic. I'm probably wrong but it looks like the pizza is either on the plate setter or on a stone on the plate setter. A good tip is to have an air gap between the plate setter and the stone to get the pizza higher in the dome and to help prevent the stone from getting too much direct heat and burning the crust.XL BGE, LG BGE, and a hunger to grill everything in sight!!!Joe- Strongsville, OH

Second that. I use my vegetable basket (when not cooking vegetables).. So from the bottom of the eggjcaspary said:Welcome aboard. That pizza looks fantastic.
