Pizza birthday party

My youngest son turned 5 today. He wanted pizza on the egg so we knocked out 6 pizzas. He even put the toppings on one himself.

That looks awesome! Nice form (shape) on the pizza. I have seen pix of some that might have tasted good, but left a lot to be desired in presentation. Do you have any tips?

The kid pizza party was one of the ways I sold my wife on buying the bge! I just have to master the pizza first! Looked up several dough recipes to try, but still waiting on pizza stone to arrive! Already have the pizza peel ready!

Nicely done. I did for the first time a few weeks ago and my 5 year old didn't like it. The first one it burnt the crust a little and another one he didn't like the crust.

Nice mines 6 pretty soon I'm planning kids make their own pizzas as an activity and will have several eggs and the oven fired up.

Chef hats for the kids might be on the dock if I can get reasonable pricing.

Thanks. My wife makes the crust using King Arthur flour. Practice does help and sometimes we use a pampered chef grilling pizza pan. The temp tonight was ranging from 650 to 725 that seems to be the money spot for the ideal crunch and crisp crust. We also use fresh mozzarella when we can.
