@henapple: We are on, I am bringing my husband. When you secure a site, or if you know now, can you let me know of accomodations, etc? My husband was at the Boro for a Military Conference a few years ago so is familiar with the area. Barring any catastrophe we will be able to come but cannot bring an Egg. We can bring lump and copious amounts of alcohol though!

@fredflinstone: looks like at least 2 more Yankees will be joining you! Looking forward to it, let me know what you need from us.

6-7 Eggers now + family ...more on hold. Looks like I've got a really nice pavilion at a state park close to interstate 40. Campground spots available, pool, playground, horseback riding, hiking... etc.

What's the name of the park? Or a link to it. It's great to check it out on the web. That might get more people involved. . And thanks for pulling this together. If they have a decent lake with decent boaters might just have to bring my kayaks and make it a longer weekend.

State parks do not allow alcoholic beverages. It would not bother me but it might someone. Just something to think about.

Cedars of Lebanon State Park. @Screamindemon ...They do not allow alcohol. I know it happens all the time. I think if we use cups? Mugs,yetis....we'll be ok. The pavilion is private. A venue that does allow it will be expensive.
My friend has offered his parking lot. A tent would provide shade. Access to water, electric, etc...
