I salvaged a commercial kitchen dish plate cart several years ago during a public university renovation. Looked it up and lo and behold this particular cart actually cost over $2000 new and it's rated to carry 700 pounds. Then I found an old school type table top at a local resale shop for five dollars today and customized it's mating with the cart. I really thought I would find a perfectly made piece of granite or corian on craigslist but that didn't happen so I am cooking with style and without spending too much on the cart!
