All of this wokking lately has me wanting to pull mine out. Well, this morning I pulled it out before work and was shocked to see some rust on the bottom and in the inside some.

Thoughts on what to do? Steel wool and then re-season? Help a brother...

I'll tell ya right now chubbs I'm not pulling it out and scrubbing it with steel wool.

This. You could even cause the issue to spread and put the piece out of commission. No fun!

I sharpen knives on it but have never used steel wool.
