    fishlessman,
Everything looks great! I've had my egg since last December and I still have not tried the ABT's. So much to cook, so little time...

    Uncle Phil,
one of the best things about the egg is that i can do so much while it does all the work. i dont think that i had more than 25-30 minutes prep time including the vacuum sealing of some leftovers for all that food. i spent more time in the market getting the meat. put the meat in at 9 pm set the clock for 1 am, got up again at 5 am checked the temps again. made some coffee, filled up 2 growlers with guinness, came back from fishing when the beer was gone, about 11 am, made some iced tea and worked on the beach, made some carp corn on the stove and fed the fish, went for a 2 hour swim with the dog, ate. not a bad saterday (101 deg on the deck). made up the curry while the abts were on and cooked it on the grill when they were ready. 3 hours later had supper on sunday. it almost looks like i slaved all weekend cooking

    tn slagamater,
the swim area in front of my house builds up with sediment if i dont keep cleaning it. best way ive found (easiest way) is to feed the large 20-30 pound carp in the lake. i simmer the feed corn from blue seal with chocalate candy, cinnimon and anise seed for a few hours, adding water as the dry corn expands. let it ferment for a few days and toss a few cups onto the beach daily. the feeding action removes all the sediment leaving a nice clean sandy beach. now to catch the carp, you string 2 pound test monofilament thru the corn and attach it to a hook with a small float so that the hook sits on the bottom and the corn floats up about an inch. on light tackle a 30 pound carp will take you for a 30 minute ride, good practice for rod technique when you have that fish of a life on
