SRF eye of ribeye roast

I wanted to share my experience with Snake River Farms. I am a first time buyer.  I recently ordered (2) Ribeye roasts that were supposed to be 10lbs each (+/- .5lb). One of them came in a 8.5lbs, the other 10lbs on the nose. I reached out to them and they have given me a credit towards my next purchase. They were quick to respond and sincere in effort to make it up to me. I also want to say that I am very, very impressed with the look of the steaks. (plan to cook one up next weekend). I just wanted to share this positive customer service story with you all. Companies nowadays seem to underestimate the impact service levels have - and those that take care of customers should be commended.

Had the same issue with a Christmas ham.  It was well under the weight as avetertised.   It would not have fed the crew I had.  I reached out to SRF and they sent me another at no cost, even though I offered to pay with no shipping charge.  In fact I insisted on paying for the ham, but they would not hear of it.   They only wanted a picture of the ham on a scale.  No problem there.   I will order again just because of this.

I ordered 2 half hams from them and there web sites said they would be between 7 to 9 pounds, both were over (9.8 oz and 10.2 oz) we have only prepared one of the and it was great.

@Raymont Thank you for this thread. I'm leery of purchasing meat from a website. 

This helps easy my concerns.
