I am building a new house and creating a built in grill/outdoor prep area. are there limitations or best practices I need to follow to ensure adequate ventilation to the vent at bottom of egg? can it be closed on 3 sides with front only exposed?
any pics would be of great help.

You can have only the front open just make sure you have an adequate air gap between egg and combustibles.and welcome to the forum!

Mine are in a restaurant stainless cabinet with doors. I cut in a couple of feather fans to supply air.

Table nest is mandatory for air flow. Will your egg be resting is a wood or metal shelf/cabinet that will make a difference.
