I know all to well @THEBuckeye‌. I lost my dad when I was 10 years old. My mom and brother Is all I have.

@tarheelmatt and @johnmitchell. Thank you for your concern, since you asked...Dad's scan was completely clear. He continues to defy all the odds. Doc told him he should stop driving (which I totally agree with) but he is still cancer free. He's been flying high for a week now. Thanks for asking.

Matt that looks great! That is a lot better looking than Lexington BBQ the last time I was there (was the last time). You are in the middle of BBQ country and looks like you have got a good handle on it. Also, I am glad to hear your mom is improving I wish her well. Hang in there and spend every moment you can with her.

That is awesome man!  He sounds like a gentleman I'd like to sit down with and listen to for a while.  Enjoy your time with him brother.

I kinda dropped the fork on this one buddy.  

Thanks for the thoughts also.  She is getting better daily.  Hopefully next week she gets to come home from the nursing home.  Fingers crossed.

You know, I haven't been to a BBQ restaurant lately.  It has been probably almost a year or so.  Thank you for the compliment buddy.  I am really digging coarse chopped over a pull though.  Having two cleavers really helps with that task.

I believe you're right.  The surgeon told my mom she could drive when she gets out of the nursing home and her eyes lit up.
