OT- potato soup- OT

Was in the mood for some soup and the recipes I have seen on here for potato soup got me in the mood. I went with the Pioneer Woman's recipe.

Started with my favorite- bacon...

Then the mirepoix:

Then added the potatoes and chicken stock, etc

Turned out well- next time would cut back on the slurry or add more chicken stock- it was a little thick but taste was spot on.
