Love it in addition to lake we have some great rivers/streams with small mouth here. But Eggin I believe is just as peaceful for me(and I can drink while I EGG)

I fish as much as my time will allow.  Unfortunately, thats not a lot with three kids and their activities.  Maybe I can fish more when I die!

Oh yeah man. Lived in Colorado for 3 years so I was stuck with trout (IMHO a waste of a cast) Glad to be back in the land where Smallmouth is King!

Tennessee. The record Smallmouth was pulled out of Dale Hollow Lake. I haven't had too much luck with largemouth this year but I've mostly been wade fishing and hitting tributaries.

Love me some Largemouth on a plastic worm!  Used to fish out of a belly boat, now I fish out of a two man.

Who am I kidding.. .either/or for me!

Largemouth and smallmouth out of the kayak in the local lake.
Stripers in the Susquehanna flats or Mullica river in the friends bass boat in the spring.
Stripers in the back bays and in close in the 19.5 foot modified v-hull Boston Whaler summer and fall.
If waves >2 ft we take the 50 ft Viking.

I could never spend on the egg what I have spent fishing for bass......

Bass fishing ha always been a favorite of mine. The last 4 or 5 years it has all been on a fly and I don't know if I will ever pull out the baitcaster or spinning setups again

So are you primarily fishing topwater then? What size bass are you getting on the FlyRod?
I use to fish steelhead and trout on the fly.

I bass fish a good bit. We've got a private lake in the neighborhood. Lots of quality 4-6lbers, and an occasional over 10lb. I need a good recipe for bass on the egg. Our lake is over populated, and you are not supposed to release any bass under 18". I've got 10-15lbs of filets in the freezer.

Wife couldn't make this trip and I took a bass fishing buddy of mine for his first time in a hobie and we hit one spot and caught as many reds as we wanted

9 lb 4 oz....would have broke ten but she had just laid her eggs. Lake Guntersville. I didn't want to mount it but the fight killed her. Fished 2 days in seriously bad weather, I had one hit and this was it.

Texas. Caught one at Sam Rayburn and the other in Lake Dunlap.

Holy snikies, I got a 5-1/4 smally in the Bondary Waters in Northern Minnesota and that think looks like it would eat it. Awesome Fish, looks great cold.....

6-7. I did a club for one year. Just didn't care for tournament fishing. Small club 15 boats. Got 3rd. Just not into them.

Those are some nice fish. I am in a club and still fish a couple events per year. I am less into tournament fishing now than in years past. In 1989, I was the TX BASS federation state champ.
